Our projects are completed with customer satisfaction

“We hired Jordan Custom in 2016 to gut and remodel our kitchen including removing a structural and chimney. As you can see from the pictures the finished product was flawless but that wasn’t what set them apart. Chris spent a lot of time focusing on our budget, timeline and expectations. He was transparent about everything and provided useful and creative solutions when we were stuck on design ideas. We were living in the home during the majority of the project with our infant twins, the work site was always spotless and they worked with us to setup a makeshift kitchen. At the end of the day, the renovation was done on budget, on time and after over a year in the kitchen we have no complaints. ”

“Chris just installed a beautiful custom built-in along a wall in our home. He helped design the piece to match our existing kitchen cabinets in the adjacent room down to the exact detail and tied it into existing custom crown molding. The highest compliment I can make is to say it looks as if it’s always been there. We have always had a professional experience with Chris on the various projects large and small and he follows up to make sure you are satisfied with his work. I’m already lining up my next projects!”

Whether the project is small or large, they go the extra mile to assure that everyone working on the project is timely, neat and respectful. Not to mention, their craftsmanship is superb!”

In late spring 2017, a Needham neighbor was having some work performed to rebuild their 3 season screened porch (floor joists, new wood floor, posts, screens, etc.) due to some wood rot. I dropped in one day to review the project and met Chris Jordan. I was impressed by the quality of his work. My wife and I had discussed re-doing our mid 1950’s three season jalousie window porch into a four season sun room.

Chris came over one afternoon to review our potential project. We discussed our ideas for the space and he gave us a few of his own ideas and options. In about a week after the visit, he came back with what we felt was an excellent plan to make a conversion of our three season porch (mostly it had become a storage area) into a quality and efficient new “sun room”. The pricing was reasonable and complete. He covered everything in the project including demolition and removal of necessary stuff, installation of new Harvey sliding windows and exterior door, ceiling and wall insulation, new plaster ceiling, electric baseboard service, all electrical work, Nantucket beadboard walls, and all carpentry. The only extras we were responsible for were floor tile, window treatments, ceiling fan unit, and painting (he had the painter he recommended give us a proposal, but we paid Chris directly for the painter’s services).

Chris started the day he said he would, demolishing the old walls, windows, and ceiling back to the studs in one day. He had a on-wheels dumpster on site for less than 24 hours. Within a few days he had done the necessary work to the infrastructure so that the custom windows could be ordered. The delivery of the windows took slightly longer than we both expected, but once they arrived the project got back on track. I was very impressed with the quality of the carpentry, from the matching of the moldings to the rest of the house, the multiple quality mitre joints, and the last minute idea (no up charge) to make the window sill wider so it could hold my wife’s flower pots.

Chris used quality subcontractors (electric, plastering, flooring installation, and painting), but did the rest of the project by himself. We were very impressed with how clean he left the site each afternoon, how he was always there when he said he would be, and the quality of the painter he used. He installed the window treatments and TV wall bracket at no additional cost too.

We couldn’t be happier with the finished project and we recommend Chris and Jordan Custom without reservation.

“Chris did a project in partnership with our interior decorator. We can absolutely recommend him. He was always on time, prepared and the work he did himself and the contractors he brought into our home were all excellent. Very professional, concerned about the best outcome, respectful of being in our house and of cleaning up at the end of every day. The finished product was absolutely beautiful and there were no surprises in terms of billing. Chis is very easy to work with–nice guy, super responsive, always prepared.”

“We worked with Chris to finish our basement in the fall of 2018 and couldn’t be happier. As the space is pretty simple and we wanted it for the kids, we didn’t want to spend a lot of money. He came up with creative ideas, helped prioritize what we could save vs spend money on, came in on budget and completed the job on time. We would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to friends.”

In September 2018 we hired Chris Jordan of Jordan Custom Carpentry to gut and re-model our small 1980s master bathroom. We discussed our vision for the bathroom and what we wanted to incorporate. Chris added some great ideas and options on how to get the most out of this small space. We mutually agreed on a budget and that the project would start on 10-12-18.

Chris began this project on the day he said he would. He brought in his demo team and they gutted the space. They were fast, efficient and cleaned the space before they left.

The quality of his work and those who came in as subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tiler, painters, and glass installers were all outstanding. They all paid close attention to detail and gave us the bathroom we asked for. Chris’s outstanding management of this project was transparent and seamless. Any questions we had during the project were immediately answered by Chris either via email or phone or in person. And when something came up that involved choices or preferences, Chris sought our input. We were very impressed with how clean he left the site each afternoon and how he was always there when he said he would be.

Chris had given us a 6 week time frame for this project. The bathroom was completed on time and on budget. We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom and with quality of work provided by Chris and his crew. It was an absolute pleasure working with Chris!

We would wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone considering a renovation. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you fail to at least contact him to discuss your project.

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. They don’t do the job proper justice.”

“Words cannot describe the incredible experience we had working with Chris Jordan. His vision for our oversized master closet that he transformed into a master bath, closet and laundry area was beyond what we could have imagined. Jordan is not only a pleasure to work with but treats the job as if he is in his own home. He is a true craftsman that takes great pride in all aspects of his work. His seamless management of all the moving parts while creating this space (electricians, plumber, painters, plasterers, tile installers, carpet installer) made this project seem as if it was barely happening in our home. Chris has an amazing eye for detail, making sure that our bedroom looked as if the new additions had always been there. We can’t brag enough about our new space and how grateful we were to have the quality experience that Chris Jordan gave us. We are happy to talk to anyone about his impeccable work and work ethic!!!”
